Two one day courses aimed at Growing Groups, Growers, Agronomists and Industry experts were held in October 19 at the University of Hertfordhsire's Bayfordbury site and at Coupar Angus Scotland, to demonstrate the use of the Strawberry Powdery Mildew model that Dr. Avice Hall and her team have developed.
The model has been developed with ease of use and simplicity in mind to make this a practical management tool for strawberry growers. The model has been successfully used by a number of commercial fruit growes across the key fruit production areas in the UK for the past three years. Its use has been made quick and easy to use by the collaboration with Agri-tech Services who have added the model as a module to its client login area on the Agri-tech web site.
